Akiko Hitomi is a well-known and talented writer and actress based in Berlin, Germany. She was born in Tokyo but spent most of her career in Germany. Some of her work includes Dune: Part Two, The Signal, and Everybody Wants To Be Loved. Her son, Julian Hitomi is also in the film business as a cameraman.
