Kostis Charamountanis

Kostis Charamountanis is an emerging, self-taught film director, screenwriter, editor, and composer whose distinctive work has earned acclaim and awards at prestigious film festivals worldwide. A fellow of SNF ARTWORKS (2020), he recently completed his debut feature film, Kyuka: Before Summer's End (2024), which premiered in the L'ACID section of the 77th Cannes Film Festival. The film has been distributed in Greece, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Canada, and won four awards at the 65th Thessaloniki International Film Festival. In March 2025, it was announced that the film will have its USA premiere at the 54th New Directors/New Films Festival MoMA, New York.
