Sophia Guillen

Sophia Guillen, daughter of a Jewish Brooklyn native and immigrant father from the Dominican Republic, was born in New York City and knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in acting. Her training began in the theatre as a member of TADA! during her adolescence. Sophia then attended SUNY Albany, where she starred in the theatre production of 'Almost, Maine'. Her training also includes The New Victory Theater, HB Studio and The Acting Studio NYC. Following her college graduation, Sophia moved to Los Angeles, CA, to pursue film and television. Some of her most notable roles include starring as the lead actress in 'A Mysterious Murder', which is set for Sundance and Cannes Film Festivals, along with various music videos, commercials, feature films and guest-star roles in TV shows. In addition to acting, Sophia has a broad skill set consisting of dance, athletics, and musical performance. Her vast dance background ranges from classical dance training to Heels and Hip Hop. She has 10+ years of soccer training and moonlighted as a certified personal trainer throughout college. Aside from that she is an intermediate-level skier, and fluent in Spanish! Sophia is committed to her craft, always striving to improve and challenge herself with each new role. With her talent, passion, and dedication, there's no doubt that Sophia will continue to captivate audiences and leave a lasting mark on the world of entertainment.
